For real life?
For real life?
Yup, design for real life. Its likely that you aren’t social media famous, that you don’t have this infinite budget to renovate and design and buy for your home. Its likely that you do have children, or a few dogs, or members of your family who are really putting a damper on your aesthetic and functionality of your home.
Real life happens every day in your home, but that doesn’t mean it can’t be both beautiful and functional. I’m Brittany, and Grain+ Dot is exactly where you want to be if you need help designing your home, want to learn some tips and tricks to keep your house feeling beautiful and calm during the chaos of everyday life, and some inside looks at a self-proclaimed “penny pincher’s” guide to achieving that designer look at a fraction of the cost. I’m so excited you found me and I’m real stinking excited to help you design your home, for real life.

She helped us pick out paint colors, helped to design bead board in the dining room. I gave her my budget and she even did the shopping for me and placing the items while I was out of town. I came home to the most wonderful surprise. She has a great eye, is really affordable, and her talent knows no bounds. I can’t speak more highly of her skills, her vision, and how easy she is to work with. Do yourself a favor and hire her to transform your space!
I have hired her for small business things (how to style my shelves) all the way to complete room designs. Her creativity and ingenuity never cease to surprise me. She has taught me how to reuse items in my home in better ways, and shop locally and affordably to update my house. I have saved so much money not buying every cute thing at Target and instead have a specific plan just for my house. If you live in the area, hire her. Her attention to her in-person projects is pretty unstoppable. Don’t sleep on Grain + Dot.
